[Class 135] A control device for a fluid-pressure servomotor comprises a piston valve a slidably mounted in a movable seat c itself slidably mounted in a casing e. The closed end of the seat is acted on by the pressure transmitted to the power cylinder y to move the seat against the action of a spring f bearing on a collar g to provide a follow-up action. The seat has ports p or t always in communication with a pressure supply conduit r, and exhaust conduit s and a conduit u leading to a chamber at the closed end of the seat and a pipe x leading to the power cylinder. The central land of the piston valve, which is held against rotation by a screw engaging a slot, is just wide enough to cover the port t. The piston valve also has an axial passage i leading to radial passage j for venting the space between the piston valve and the closed end of the seat.
