A permanent unlined metallic centrifugal mould 1 for casting metal comprises an integral extension 2 of reduced diameter to provide a pouring surface to receive molten metal. When wear occurs, the pouring surface can be machined until it reaches a limit corresponding to the bore 4 of the article 5 to be cast.
