Abstract

759,417. Making crown corks; stamping. CARVALLO, P. May 18, 1954 [May 18, 1953], No. 14616/54. Classes 83 (2) and 83 (4). [Also in Group XVII] A tool device for making crown corks has a cutting punch 18 sliding within a cutting die 19 and provided with inside grooves 20 which form the cap flange ribs, the cap end wall being formed between a stamp 21 and a block 22. An extractor 23 formed with radial teeth 24 corresponding with the grooves 20 slides in an annular space between die 19 and block 22.
