758,131. Turn-button fastenings. GREENWOOD'S & AIRVAC VENTILATION CO., Ltd., and HUGHES, B. D. April 7, 1955 [April 8, 1954], No. 10363/54. Class 44. [Also in Group X] A ventilator 1 of the kind described in Specification 662,498, [Group X], is characterized in that it is secured at each end in a window frame 5 by means of a lug 2 which is releasably secured thereto by means of a screw 31 and a nut 3<SP>2</SP>. Before fitting the ventilator into the glazing aperture 4 of the window the nut 3<SP>2</SP> is loosened and the lug 2 is swung inwardly. When the ventilator is in position the lug 2 is swung outwardly over the edge of the frame 5 and the nut 3<SP>2</SP> is tightened. Instead of employing the lugs 2 integral lugs may be pressed up from the body of the ventilator. Alternatively a lug 7<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 4, may be welded to the ventilator. In either case, after the ventilator has been positioned the lug is turned outwardly to engage the frame 5.
