A ventilator casing has a radially directed flange 7 and is mounted in a window pane 4 by a mounting strip 1 of rubber &c. having a groove 2 which accommodates the margin of the mounting hole in the pane 4 and an oppositely directed groove 5 which accommodates the flange 7 and a lip 6 extending at an angle to the general direction of the transverse section of the groove 5 and away from the mouth thereof so that the groove 5 is opened by pulling the lip for the insertion of the flange 7. Specification 825,248 is referred to.
