Abstract

1,149,596. Ventilators. SOC. D'EXPLOITATION DES BREVETS PIETRACCI. 28 March, 1967 [29 March, 1966], No. 13987/67. Heading F4V. A ventilator is mounted in an aperture in a window pane x by means of a plastics sealing ring comprising a flange g, provided with radial slits, that grips the pane and a flange b, c that engages and holds a projection y on the ventilator. To improve the flexibility of flange c slits may also be cut therein or larger portions removed. In a modification, flange c is replaced by two pairs of diametrically opposed tabs (d, e, Fig. 4) at least one of which may be provided with a handle k to facilitate insertion of the projection y.
