Abstract

The ventilator is for mounting in an opening in the frame normally accommodating a pane of glass, having a cowl, and a plate mounted clear of it so as to enclose anboblong opening between. the cowl (1) or the plate (2) are provided with means (4, 5) to accommodate and adjust a separate component (8) having a channel in which the glass (12, 13) fits. This channel can be arranged to accommodate single or double glazing, and the component concerned can be extruded, with mating ribs on it and the plate etc by which they are secured together. The design is readily adaptable to suit different types of glazing.
