Abstract

1422970 Ventilators GREENWOOD AIRVAC VENTILATION Ltd 7 Feb 1974 [22 Feb 1973] 8849/73 Heading F4V A ventilator for mounting within the glazing aperture of a window frame comprises an elongate plate 2 and an elongate hood 1 defining a ventilation passage 3, one of the two members 1, 2 having a glazing channel 4, and a strip 8 masking the exterior opening of the passage 3 to deflect wind and rain away from the opening. The channel 4 may be made deep enough to take double glazing, and the plate 2 and a portion 11 of the strip 8 will then lie in parallel planes. A flyscreen is provided.
