Abstract

The window has double wing frames held at an interval. Panes are clamped between a retainer shank on the frame outside and a retainer profile detachably fastened to the frame stem. The retainer profile units (40) are made of rubber-elastic material, and they extend between the frame (2, 4) to serve as spacers and insulating seals. They may be made in a single piece, with an insulating shank (48) extending between the frames, and a pressure shank (44) fitting on the glass pane (18, 20) with its end formed by transversely aligned lamellae (46). Construction is simplified, with only a few parts involved.
