Abstract

1427172 Insulated frame; glazing GOTZ METALLBAU GmbH 10 April 1973 [13 April 1972 28 July 1972] 17077/73 Headings E1J and E1R The heads of two T-sectioned, resilient, thermally insulating members 9, 12 each span the gap between two opposed window frame sections 1, 2 and the ends of the stems of the T each have at least one barb which engages with either the barb of the other T or a projection 18 on the frame sections to thereby resiliently deform the T and hold lugs 7, 8 and 10, 11 on the head of the T in respective channels on the frame sections and thereby hold the sections together. The members 9, 12 may have metal inserts 42. The glass panes may be secured in a resilient glazing strip as claimed in Specification 1427173, Fig. 5 (not shown) or by removable glazing bars 41.
