Abstract

1380369 Glazing ELTREVA AG 25 Jan 1973 [25 Jan 1972] 3832/73 Addition to 7856/72 and 1373264 Heading E1R A metallic glazing strip 6 is secured to a wooden frame 1 by spaced, U-sectioned ratchetted clips 5a, the arms of the U engaging between flanges on the glazing bar 6, and the clips, at least at the frame's corners, being mounted so as to be displaceable transversely of the frame in the plane of the glass or a plane parallel thereto to thereby accommodate differences in the dimensions of the frame 1 and strip 6. The clips may have a slot slidably engaging a dovetailed lug on a bracket 14 secured to the frame 1. Ribs 17 are provided as reinforcement between the arms 5a of the clips.
