757,537. Adjustable hook and eye fastenings. GALONSKA, W. O. Feb. 4, 1954 [Feb. 5, 1953], No. 3384/54. Class 43. [Also in Group XXV] An adjustable fastener for securing together the two overlapping end portions of a waistband such as of a skirt or trousers comprises two parts, each having a plurality of integrallyconnected anchor stems 2 made by bending a length of wire into a zig-zag form, and each having a hook member 3 at the front end adapted to engage with any one anchor stem 2 of the other part. The hook may be of wire and formed integrally with the zig-zag part as shown in Fig. 1. A swivel hook 4, Fig. 4, having a bent nose 6, may be provided on one part of the fastener for engaging an anchor stem 2 of the other part.
