Class 141 A necktie has a wide part a provided with loops e on its rear side through which the narrow part b may pass, this part having buttonholes f by means of which it may be buttoned to the shirt and means to prevent its end slipping through the knot d so that the tie need not be retied each time it is worn. The end of the part b may have a widened portion g and may have a button fastening end flaps forming this portion. Alternatively, a transverse bar may be fastened to a strip which is attached to the end of the part b, or the end may be thickened. The tie may be manufactured in made-up form if desired.
