756,967. Tool handles. ALLEN & HANBURYS, Ltd. Oct. 27, 1954 [Dec. 16, 1953], No. 35034/53. Class 61 A surgical saw comprises a handle 1 having a cylindrical blade holder 4 rotatably mounted therein, the holder 4 being locked in desired angular position by a rod 11 screwed into a bore in the handle and engageable in any one of a series of indentations 10 in the holder. The end 8 of the saw blade is square or rectangular in section being received in a passage 7 of similar shape. The holder 4 is supported in an open-sided chamber in the handle by two pivot screws one of which extends into the passage 7 to engage the end of the blade 8.
