720,958. Percussive drills; sawing. BAIER, O. May 18, 1953 [March 12, 1953], No. 13841/53. Classes 124 and 145 [Also in Group XXII] A power-driven hand tool comprises a circular metal saw 9 and a drill spindle shank 13 to accommodate rotary or percussive drills. The saw is rotated by an electric or compressed air motor 1 through worm gearing 7 and is used in conjunction with an adjustable work-engaging member 11. The drill is also rotated by the motor through change gears 12, 14. If a percussive action is required, a cam-block 18 is locked by a pin 21 so that the spindle 13 is reciprocated as well as rotated.
