756,739. Manure distributers. MICKLETHWAIT, E. W. E. (Smith, W. H.). Aug. 31, 1954 [June 1, 1953], No. 15238/53. Class 6 (1). [Also in Groups XXI and XXX] A tractor load handling attachment comprises a rear end loader, similar to that described in Specification 723,771, [Group XXX], arranged to discharge into a hopper 50 which is attached to pins 53, supported by the rails 13, and to the tractor power lift links 11, 12; the latter being used to raise the hopper from the ground into a position in which it can be secured to pins 53 by clamping screws 52. The hopper is provided with a detachable rotary manure spreader 58 driven from the tractor wheels by a belt or chain 60, and has a rear wall 61 which is hinged at 62 and is retained in the full line position by a latch mechanism 63. The loading fork 19 may be replaced by a bucket or scoop.
