779,907. Load-handling machines on vehicles for loading. BREEDON GARAGES, Ltd., and SHIELDS, C. T. G. Jan. 2, 1956 [Oct. 4, 1954], No. 28473/54. Classes 78 (3) and 78 (4). Means for loading goods from ground level on to a vehicle 10 comprises a scoop 20 and a delivery shoot 21 forming an attachment to vehicle 10, such that, as the vehicle goes forward the scoop scoops up the goods B and, when the scoop is raised, the goods slide down into the trailer 30. As shown, the attachment is carried by links 12, 24, both pivoted to the tractor at 14 and raised by a pair of hydraulic rams 11 mounted on the tractor.
