Abstract
1,233,442. Endless conveyers. FACOFRAN SOC. CO-OPERATIVE. 7 Oct., 1968 [6 Oct., 1967], No. 47528/68. Heading B8A. An agricultural elevator comprises an endless conveyer chain 2a carried by a tubular framework 1 mounted by pivot arms 4 to the front end of a tractor and by telescopic arms 14 to the three point linkage at the rear end of the tractor. The pivot arms 4 have one end connected to a sliding block 6, vertically adjustable in guides 8, and the other end pivoted to the frame and connected through a rod 10 to a control lever 11 whereby the front of the elevator may be raised or lowered. The conveyer is driven from the power take-off of the tractor through a gear-box 30, a telescopic drive shaft 29 and a further gear-box 28 driving a shaft 27. A further endless chain 2b, also driven from the shaft 27, extends rearwardly from the conveyer 2a to an adjustable discharge shoot 24. Runners 22 arranged on both sides of the conveyers support the load during conveyance. The front end of the framework may have shoes 18 or wheels (not shown) for engagement with the ground and guide bars 19, 20 to position the load on the conveyer.
