Abstract

754,286. Motor driving arrangements. BRESGES, O. July 14, 1954 [July 31, 1953], No. 20593/54. Class 35. A universal high speed motor in a shell not containing gearing is adapted to drive kitchen and other household devices, tools, and massaging appliances &c. and is connectable to the supply independently of the driven device. Fig. 1 shows a hot air blower 23 driven directly by a motor enclosed in an insulating shell 21 having a handle 20. In Fig. 4 the motor drives two stirrers 34 through gearing. A massage appliance 42 on a shaft 41 shown in Fig. 6 is driven by an eccentric bush 40 which is in turn driven by the motor through gear wheels 39, 45. Fig. 7 shows a flexible shaft 49 carrying a tool chuck 50 which is driven by the motor through gear wheels 45, 46. Fig. 11 shows the motor unit carried by a fixed support 55 and arranged to drive directly a mixer 56 while in Fig. 14 (not shown), a centrifuge is driven by a supported motor through gears.
