Abstract

The portable power tool is designed for washing and polishing cars and comprises a fully insulated electric motor unit (2) fitted with an integral gearbox (3). This is mounted into a casing (1) which is complete with control buttons (5, 6, 7). The end of the output shaft drives a hollow shaft rotating at the end (4) of the housing. At the end of the shaft is a threaded adaptor to receive, a cylindrical brush. Holes (12) are provided in the hollow shaft, these supplying liquid to the brush from a feed (8) at the motor end of the casing. The brush is changed to suit the operation.
