Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a compact device which eliminates mounting of an electric motor to the tip of a ball screw, by a method wherein the rotary shaft of the electric motor is formed in a hollow manner, and a ball screw being relatively displaceable together with the electric motor is situated in a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a ball screw 7 are non-rotatably secured, and secured so that it is also axially immobile. A bracket 10 of an electric motor or a stator frame 1 is mounted axially movably but non-rotatably. When, with this state, the electric motor is run, a rotor 3 and a ball screw but 5 are rotated, and are axially movable together with the stator frame 1 and the bracket 10. Since the rotary shaft of the electric motor is formed in a hollow manner and the ball screw, being relatively displaceable together with the electric motor, is situated in the rotary shaft, a device itself can be compacted.
