Abstract

753,521. Rubber brushes; handle fixings. PARLATEX, Ltd. Nov. 2, 1954 [Nov. 11, 1953], No. 31263/53. Classes 19 and 61 A brush head, more particularly for cleaning lavatories, comprises an assembly of rubber or the like bristles .formed of equal length rods of circular cross-section moulded integrally with a base, the rods having stepped diameters to provide thickened base portions 5 which are of different length in different parts of the brush. As shown the base portions increase in length progressively towards the middle of the brush but there may alternatively be two regions of the bristles (e.g. front and rear) with the base portions of different length. A scraper 6 is provided on the reverse side and a socket 2 is provided for a handle.
