501,124. Brushes &c. COSBY, JUN., E. L. H. Nov. 21; 1938, No. 33792. [Class 19] The face of the stock of a tooth brush is of different levels and the bristles are all trimmed to the same length whereby a brush of undulating surface provided with the bristles all of the same stiffness and quality may be made. A stock 1 has a raised flat portion 1a at the end for bristles 2, and a central rib 1b of less height for bristles 2a, while lower portions 1c of the stock receive bristles 2b. Modifications in the stepping of the stock may be made.
