Abstract

427,663. Brushes. DEAN, J. D., 45, Moresby Avenue, Tolworth, Surrey. Jan. 1, 1934, No. 40. [Class 19] A brush or pad 1 is combined with a comb 3, the teeth of which extend in the same sense as the edge bristles but towards points 10 diverge outwardly. The comb is held by a plate 6 and nut 9 and is detachable. The brush 1 can be replaced by a pad. A blade may be fitted between parts 5, 6, for trimming or stripping purposes. In a modification, the stock of the brush slides in an undercut groove in the comb part 5.
