Abstract

The toothbrush comprises a handle which is angled at the front ent where two bristle arms (2, 3) are mounted opposite each other in V-shape so that the bristles (7) attached to the arms produce a prismatic gap (5). This brush allows an effective cleaning of all the teeth, even those at the back and in addition a cleaning of the gums. The brush can be readily manufactured by bifurcating the end of the brush handl and attaching the bristle tufts parallel to each other in the forked ends. Through thermoplastic processing the handle ends can then be turned towards each other so that the tufts are set at the right angle.
