747,500. Doormats and scrapers. PHILIPSON & CO. (BOLTON), Ltd. June 8, 1954 [June 10, 1953], No. 15931/53. Class 142 (4). A combined doormat and scraper comprises parallel metal strips A and brush sections C arranged between some or all of the metal strips, the height of the brushes being adjustable. The strips A may be formed integrally with end and side members or may be separate pieces secured to end members. The base c of each brush, and which may be of metal or wood, is secured to a flange of each end member by a screw D. The screw may engage a screwed sleeve in the base c and the height of the top of the bristles can be adjusted by rotation of the screws.
