Abstract

861,958. Brushes. LEWIN ROAD SWEEPERS Ltd. July 18, 1958 [July 17, 1957], No. 22729/57. Class 19. Bristles 12 are secured in any suitable manner in a socket 13 having an enlarged end 14 that provides an abutment surface which limits outward movement of the bristle tuft formed by the bristles and the socket when the tuft is inserted into and pushed outwards of a stepped bore 15 in a stock 10 before a backing plate 17 is secured to the stock to positively secure the tuft in the stock. Specifications 830,451, 830,452, 830,453 and 830,454 are referred to.
