Abstract

752,911. Tent-like hangars &c. LEA BRIDGE INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Oct. 14, 1954 [March 5, 1954], No. 6485/54. Class 20(1). A folding tent or hangar comprises a flexible cover 15 attached to a number of arched frames 1 to 5 pivoted at their ends to a common support 7, the frames being connected together by rods 6a so that raising the top frame pulls all the others up into fan like positions. The two outer rods 6a are hinged at their mid points to collapse outwards when the tent is folded down, and when straight they are held rigid by a sliding sleeve and pin. The intermediate rods 6a are detached from their frames during folding. The flexible cover 15 may have spring hooks 16 to engage eyes 14a fixed on the frames.
