Class 132(1) In a roundabout with a plurality of radial arms rotated about a central axis and having passenger carriers at their outer ends, independent adjustment means actuated by an electric motor and controlled from the corresponding passenger carrier is provided for each arm. If the cable P breaks or slips, shaft V is pushed by spring; Z to engage block X. In a modification, Fig. 8 (not shown), a hydraulic or pneumatic jack operated by a motor pump may be provided for raising and lowering the arm.
