Abstract

747,292. Mowing-machines; edge trimmers. BRASINGTON, J. S., and GILHAM, F. A. March 10, 1954, No. 7026/54. Classes 6 (2) and 6 (3). A lawn-mower, adapted also for edge-trimming, comprises a member 16, preferably of tubular construction, supported by front and rear rollers or wheels 10, 11 and carrying an adjustable bracket which also supports a motor 23 to the shaft of which is secured a rotary cutter 27. The bracket, being adjustable about the member 16, enables the cutter to be moved to horizontal or vertical position. The fuel tank 25 is supported on the housing for the front or rear roller and is connected to the motor by a flexible pipe 24.
