Class 7(2) An extension tube 3 of a crankcase oil filler 4 arranged in the upper part of an engine block, e.g. in a push-rod casing, extends through an outer casing 1 of an oil-bath filter, which casing 1 has a zone 12 connected to the engine air induction system and to the interior of the tube 3 as via an annular gap 11 between two sections thereof. Crankcase fumes, together with air entering via an inwardly flanged opening 2 in the casing 1, thus passes to a carburetter through the filter which, in addition to the oil bath. in the casing bottom, has filtering material 10 contained between metal gauze plates 8, 9.
