Abstract

739,637. Dish-drying apparatus. BOLINDERS FABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG. Feb. 16, 1954 [Feb. 25, 1953], No. 4537/54. Class 34 (2). Apparatus 3 for completing the drying of dishes after passage through a hot air drier has a chamber 12 in which are suspended strips 13 of cellulose sponge, chamois or other absorbent material which contact the dishes carried through the chamber by chain 6 and wipe off remaining drops of water. The apparatus shown is combined with a hot air drier 2 in which air heated by electric heaters is circulated by fans 7 the dishes from dishwasher 1 being carried through the apparatus in baskets 5. The circulation of warm air also serves to dry the absorbent strips which may have their mounting frame on a crankshaft 16 (Fig. 6) driven by a pulley 17 to give them horizontal and vertical motion.
