Abstract

739,125. Radio receiving apparatus. CINCH MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. Sept. 7, 1953 [Dec. 6, 1952], No. 24716/53. Class 40 (5). A valve-screening-can assembly comprises an apertured base member 6 having mounted therein a valve holder 2 and further comprising two upturned leg portions 12, disposed on opposite sides of the base member 6 and provided with inwardly directed lugs 14 formed from the material of the leg portions and engaging with outwardly directed flanges 20 formed at the lower end of a valve-screening- can 16. The can is maintained in positive engagement with the lugs 14 by means of a spring mounted in its upper end and engaging the top of the valve. The top of the can 16 has a central opening.
