Abstract

A lubricant for oiling rings and travellers of ring-spinning frames (see Group IX) consists of 75 to 95 per cent of a hydraulic type solvent refined oil to British DTD 44D, 2 to 20 per cent of a non-creep additive and 2 per cent of sulphonated sperm oil/mineral oil compound, the sperm having been sulphonated in a heavy gravity spindle oil.
