733,857. Screwdrivers. CHENEY & SON, Ltd., C. W., and CHENEY, C. W. Nov. 17, 1952 [Nov. 17, 1951], No. 27017/51. Class 61. A screwdriver is provided with a slidable sleeve 4 spring pressed into a normal position in advance of the tip 2 and rotatable with the tip to prevent side slip of the blade. The sleeve is urged forwardly by coiled spring 7 disposed between the inner end of the sleeve and a fixed collar 3 on the shank 1. The shank is connected to the sleeve by engagement of a crosspin 5 in the slot 6. Specification 13151/42, as open to inspection under Sect. 91, is referred to.
