595,429. Wall &c. plugs. WARDMAN. C.B. March 31, 1945, No. 8139. [Class 89 (i)] A compound nail and wall &c. plug comprises a tubular member 10 with a head 18 to engage the part 15 to be secured and a solid point with saw cuts 11. An inner member 12 with a head 13 and tapered end 14 serves, on driving into place, to expand the point of the part 10 and prevent withdrawal. The part 10 may be serrated externally.
