Abstract

A nickel-base alloy, particularly for cast or wrought parts of internal combustion turbines, has the following composition: .Cr.15.0-30.0.per cent .Mo.7.5-12.0.per cent .Ti.1.0- 3.0.per cent .Al.0.1- 2.0.per cent .C.0 - 0.3.per cent .Fe.0 - 2.0.per cent .Mn.0 - 1.5.per cent .Si.0 - 1.5.per cent Ni, and any impurities, the balance The alloy may also contain up to 10 per cent of Co. The alloy may be given a heat treatment, e.g. solution treatment at 1120 DEG C. for 6 hours, followed by ageing at 750 DEG C. for 16 hours. Specifications 583,162 and 583,212 are referred to.
