Abstract
729,470. Internally-fired radiant tubes. FALLON, J. July 6, 1953 [July 14, 1952], No. 17666/52. Class 51 (1). An internally-fired tubular unit for heating a furnace is formed as a substantially closed and continuous circuit and receives products of combustion through a jet c from an external combustion chamber, the jet being of smaller cross-sectional area than the tubular unit so that the combustion products are recirculated before being discharged through an exhaust port e.
