728,578. Earth-grading scraper implements. WILSON, J. C. Sept. 14, 1953, No. 25290/53. Class 68(1). A scraper blade 15 for use in earth-grading operations is supported from a frame 2 ... 6 by a pivot pin 16 and a semi-circular yoke 13 resting on angle brackets 12 secured to the frame. The axis of curvature of the yoke coincides with the axis of the pin 16, so that when the yoke is rotated about the axis of curvature the blade is rotated about the axis of the pin. When the blade has been adjusted to a desired position, the yoke is secured to the frame by a pin on the frame being passed through one of a series of holes 25 in the yoke. Vertical adjustment of the frame is controlled by an hydraulically-operated linkage on a tractor, the frame being pivotally connected thereto by arms 5, 27. Skids 43 can be mounted on the back of the blade, and adjustable plates may be secured to the ends of the blade to extend and vary the configuration of the scraper edge of the blade.
