Abstract

728,274. Stands. OLANDER, K. E. May 11, 1953, No. 13123/53. Class 52 (3). An ironing-table stand has crossed front and rear legs in vertical planes substantially parallel to the sides of the board and feet 31, 40 extending transversely each having two points of contact with the floor, one foot being provided with a levelling or stabilizing means to compensate for floor irregularities. In the pieferred construction the adjustable foot 31 can rock on a fulcrum 48 on the lower end of the leg and has an arcuate serrated bail 46 passing through slots in the leg, the serrations engaging the slot edges. The splay of the legs is adjustable by means of a rack on the underside of the ironing board. Specification 724,348 is referred to.
