Abstract

724,348. Stands. OLANDER, K. B. May 11, 1953, No. 13122/53. Classes 52 (2) and 52 (3). An ironing-board stand has front and rear legs 17, 18 connected in X formation at a point 31 above their mid-lengths with their upper parts in a plane adjacent that of the outer edge of the board and the lower ends of the legs having extensions 20, 33 underlying the board. The stand may be foldable against the underside of the board in which case one of the pivotal connections of the legs to the underside of the board is slidably mounted, the slide having a latch device providing for height adjustment of the board by varying the spread of the legs.
