727,377. Lamp-holders. FIGUEIREDO, R. Aug. 5, 1953 [Aug. 11, 1952], No. 21638/53. Class 38 (1). An angularly adjust able lamp-holder com prises a flanged base 4 with a dome 3 having ar elongated hole 7 througl which projects a screw threaded portion 8 of a contact - carrier 9. A hemispherical base o the carrier 9 abuts the interior of the dome 3 and the carrier is retained in this position by a ring 11 which can be tightened to lock the carrier in a given angular position. Cut-away portions 15 on the carrier base engage guidemembers 14 in the dome so that the angular movement of the carrier is constrained in a vertical plane.
