725,988. Gas stoves. AALENER STAHLRADIATOREN-FABRIK H. SCHWARTE GES. March 31, 1953 [Jan. 12, 1953], No. 8974/53. Class 126. Flue and air inlet pipes are mounted on a plate .on the inside of a wall, connected by tie rods to a sheet metal casing closed by a perforated plate and at least partly conical, and a counter plate fitted to the mounting plate carries pipes to connect the air inlet and flue pipe to a gas heater. A casing 3, inserted in a wall from the outside, has a conical portion 3a and is closed at its outer end by a perforate plate or grid. A flue outlet pipe 8 and an air inlet pipe 7 are carried by a mounting plate 6 secured against the inner end of the casing 3 by tie rods 5. A counter-plate 11, riveted to the mounting plate at 11a is secured by a screw 11b, so that connections 12, 13 cooperate with the air inlet 7 and flue pipe 8. Asbestos packing 16, 17 seals the joints between connections 12, 13 on the counter plate and pipes 7, 8 carried by the mounting plate. The bimetallic strip 18 of a safety device preventing the supply of gas if the pilot light is not lit is mounted opposite the open end of the air inlet.
