Abstract

724,574. Fusible cut-outs. FERGUSON PAILIN, Ltd. March 27, 1953, No. 8569/53. Addition to 563,600. Class 38 (1). In a modification of the cartridge fuse claimed in the parent Specification applicable also to the fuse according to Specification 724,575, ring-shaped end plates 5 fitted to the ends of a barrel 1 and carrying fusible elements 2, have preferably integral terminal tags 7 extending perpendicularly therefrom through slots in end caps 6 at positions off-set from the axis of the fuse, the tags being bent externally of the end caps so that their end portions lie in planes tangential to the outer surface of the fuse.
