[Class 38 (i)] A cartridge fuse f is attached to a carrier c by insertion by a latera movement in a slot A in a central projection d on the holder. The slot is of such a width that the end caps will not pass into it and abutments g engage the caps. In a modification the slot is closed by a clamping block h, Fig. 4, which may itself be formed with the slot or part of it.
