Abstract

1,039,391. Fused connectors. J. W. WEBSTER. April 20, 1965 [Jan. 17, 1964], No. 2195/64. Heading H2G. After a cartridge fuse 12 is connected to two low voltage conductors 4 and 5 by means of spring clips 8 and 9, the connection is enclosed in an insulating sleeve 3 (see also Fig. 2, not shown). The portions 13 and 14 of the spring clips may be of oval cross-section so that they bear against the inside of the sleeve 3 and thus prevent accidental disconnection of the conductors 4 or 5. The sleeve 3 may be provided with an aperture 15 for inspection of the fuse.
