721,455. Packaging potato crisps. WHITING, A. J. Nov. 17, 1952 [Nov. 16, 1951], No. 26944/51. Class 94 (1). Potato crisps 9 in a bag 1 are salted by first putting salt in one corner 5 of the bag 1, confining this salt in the corner by a partition or seal formed by folding the corner and then filling the bag with crisps, the partition or seal formed by the folding being able to be undone without breaking the bag, so that the released salt can be shaken up with the crisps in the bag. The folding comprises at least two creases 6, 7, diagonally across the corner of the bag, and adhesive 8 is applied to seal two adjacent folds together.
