Abstract
720,254. Two-part couplings. SCHULER, X. Dec. 22, 1952 [Jan. 3, 1952], No. 32462/52. Class 38 (1). A plug comprises a pair of insulating parts 20, 21, Fig. 4, which are held together by a screw 70, pins 32 being held captive between them. The act of screwing the parts together forces a conductor 101 passed through an aperture 321, Fig. 5, in each pin and resting on a bearing surface 212 around the pin, into engagement with a point 322 formed on the pin. Ribs on parts 21 cause kinks in the conductors to prevent tensile stress being applied to the connections to the pins.
