Abstract

The alloys of the parent Specification, which are used particularly for winding springs for watches, clocks and other instruments, are modified by reduction of the proportions of any one or more of constituents Cr, Be and Ti. The reduced proportions then lie in the following ranges, Cr 10 to less than 15 per cent, Be 0.005 to less than 0.6 per cent and Ti 0.01 to less than 0.6 per cent.
