(Class 123(2) A forced-circulation steam boiler,. adapted to operate at least at critical pressure and to be fed with water practically free from salt, has its steam-generating surface so disposed as to be subjected to radiant heat, and the usual superheater is constructed to ensure that the final steam temperature reaches or exceeds approximately 600‹C.
